Manufacturing equipment maker ATC Automation has announced its expanding its operations in Cookeville and adding 110 new jobs.
Those with the company said most of the new positions will be engineering jobs to help ATC meet growing demand for its assembly lines and test equipment for the automotive, medical, energy, and consumer products markets.
ATC, which has been located in Putnam County for nearly four decades, has been spending more than $10 million to add 65,000 square feet to its operations.
The expansion has been scheduled to be complete by the middle of 2017. The company was also upgrading its existing facility and purchasing another building that it currently leases.
