Authorities said a woman who was found dead near Knoxville was believed to be a missing East Tennessee State University student.
Media outlets reported investigators from the Greene County Sheriff's Office found 20-year-old Diana Guzman's car in woods near the Interstate 40/Interstate 75 exchange, and the body was found not far from the wreckage.
The Sheriff's Office said in a news release that a Tennessee Department of Transportation worker had found Guzman's wallet on the road Friday in Loudon County.
Guzman was last seen at her home in Chuckey on August 10. She was reported missing by her family the next day when she did not show up for her shift at her family's restaurant.
