Chattanooga police said a restaurant employee has been shot to death during a scuffle outside the building.
Chattanooga police told media outlets officers who were called to break up a fight at the Bella Vita Restaurant in Chattanooga around 2 a.m. Sunday found 40-year-old Johnny Sanders with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police said in a statement 31-year-old Andrew Wilson was charged with criminal homicide and unlawful possession of a firearm. Wilson had been removed from the restaurant by security, and the shooting took place outside the business.
It wasn't immediately known whether Wilson had an attorney.
A call to the restaurant went unanswered Sunday.
