Representatives with Coca-Cola Refreshments said they have dedicated a new $5.3 million regional distribution center and warehouse that will add 50 jobs to its local workforce of 700 people in Memphis.
The soft drink company said the center was dedicated Wednesday at Southpoint Business Park.
Coca-Cola Refreshments-Memphis has distributed approximately 15 million cases of non-alcoholic beverages annually in the market served by the distribution center. The center will serve its over 9,000 customers in the Memphis metro area, eastern Arkansas and north Mississippi.
The 270,000-square-foot facility was designed to be capable of storing 380,000 cases of Coca-Cola products including soft drinks, Dasani water, VitaminWater, energy drinks and tea.
