NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A fetus was found Wednesday inside a container at a residence on Due West Avenue while family members were cleaning out the home, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
Police said a 25-year-old woman told investigators she experienced a stillbirth some time ago.
The Medical Examiner’s Office is working with detectives and will conduct an examination of the remains.
The investigation remains open.
