A man was arrested after bringing several guns to a Memphis Baptist church on Easter Sunday.
WHBQ-TV reported the man arrived around the time of the 11 a.m. service, when an estimated 4,500 people were inside the Bellevue Baptist Church.
Church security saw a man in the sanctuary armed with several guns and alerted the Memphis Police Department. Police have not identified the man who was taken into custody.
The man was arrested without incident and police were continuing to investigate the situation.
The church Tweeted that no one was injured and "praise the Lord for His protection."
Bellevue is one of the nation's largest churches with a congregation of tens of thousands.
