An investigation has been ongoing after a man was found dead inside a Stewart County home.
Authorities said 51-year-old Donnie Cooksey was found dead inside a home in the 200 block of Wallace Street Tuesday afternoon.
Preliminary autopsy results from Thursday showed Cooksey died from a gunshot wound.
Officials said they would not have further details until the final autopsy results came in.
The investigation was ongoing by those with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
