A Stewart County man has been charged with child rape.
Officials with the Cumberland City Police Department said Lloyd Paul Allard was arrested Monday.
The 56-year-old was charged with one count of aggravated rape of a child.
Police said the arrest is the result of an ongoing investigation.
No additional details were provided.
