The victim of a theft at a storage facility in Murfreesboro has won his fight for compensation after winning a lawsuit against the facility.
It happened back in August at the CubeSmart on South Church Street.
Lane Sutton's lawn equipment was taken, and he learned the supposedly "secure" site actually had its fence wide open.
Employees said it had been broken for weeks. He sued CubeSmart for breach of contract and for being grossly negligent.
This week, a judge ruled in favor of Sutton. However, his property, as well as at least one other customer, is still missing.
There haven't been any arrests made in the case. Murfreesboro Police asked anyone recognizing the truck in the surveillance video to call police.
