NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Stay weather aware on Sunday as strong storms with the threat of damaging wind are possible in the afternoon.
A Storm 5 Alert will be in effect from 12 to 8 p.m.
Scattered rain and thunderstorms will impact mainly areas northeast of Interstate 24. While damaging wind gusts will be our primary concern, localized flash flooding will be possible.
A Flash Flood Watch is out for some of our southern Kentucky counties until Monday afternoon.
The threat of a quick spin-up tornado is low but not zero.
