NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A slight risk for severe weather has been predicted to hit Middle Tennessee Wednesday afternoon and early evening.
News Channel 5 Meteorologist Lelan Statom forecasted a range of precipitation from light rain to storms containing strong winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning strikes.
The risk covered most of Middle Tennessee and a small portion of Southern Kentucky.
A front was projected to work its way across the Mid-South, which would increase the threat of some stronger storms that could reach severe levels.
Wednesday’s temperatures were forecasted to reach the mid-80s with a 90% chance of rain.
