NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — More than 7,000 customers in the Middle Tennessee area lost power overnight after storms moved through the area.
A cold front brought howling winds and rain Tuesday night, prompting a Storm 5 Alert for our area. Now that the rain has moved out, a Wind Advisory continues until noon.
Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation reported more than 7,000 outages spanning from Stewart to Sumner counties. In Clarksville, more than 700 are without power.
Further south in Nashville, less than 300 customers were without power as of 6 a.m. Check the Nashville Electric Service outage map here.
