NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Students around the world are skipping class to demand action on climate change.
Young activists across the U.S. are meeting Friday in 120 places to demonstrate their commitment to bringing attention to what they see as a global climate crisis.
According to the Youth Climate Strike's website, there is a march planned south of Nashville.
These kids are mobilizing to demand the government do more about climate change
The past four years have been the hottest on record. These kids say they’re worried that if nothing is done to slow global warming, their generation will be left to deal with catastrophic consequences.
