NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The National Fire Protection Association's Fire Prevention Week began Sunday and runs through Saturday.

This year's campaign is "Not every hero wears a cape. Plan and practice your escape." Officials hope to use the week to educate everyone about the small but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe.

The NFPA website has lots of resources including fire safety tip pages to print out and share with your coworkers.

It also has several videos, activities, and lesson plans for children to help educate them on fire safety.

You can find all of those resources by clicking here.
