NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Nashville man has been charged after police say he was seen on surveillance video abusing his dogs.

A Metro Nashville police affidavit said Brandon Tynes was arrested after an employee of his apartment complex reported the abuse.

The alleged incident happened back on June 11 inside an elevator at the complex.

Tynes is accused of abusing his two dogs by throwing one of them headfirst against the wall, police said. He’s also accused of hitting one of them repeatedly in the face.

He’s facing animal cruelty charges in the case.
