Suspect arrested for Lawrenceburg double murder

LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WTVF) — A suspect in a double murder that took place in Lawrenceburg Thursday has been arrested, Lawrenceburg police said.

Officers responded to a shots fired call on the 400 block of Oak Street around 3:45 a.m. When they arrived, they found two dead individuals who had been shot.

Detectives joined the scene to collect evidence, allowing them to determine a suspect.

The suspect, Sebastian Arzadon, 22, of Summertown, was arrested near Howard Street shortly after 11 a.m. after he had run away from the scene.

Arzadon is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, especially aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Additional charges will be placed on him later. He is being held in the Lawrence County jail on a $4.2 million bond.

Arzadon's victims are 28-year-old Benjamin Cunningham and 38-year-old Corie Williams, both of Lawrenceburg.
