Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a robbery in Madison, thanks to tips from the public.
The incident happened on November 7 at a Family Dollar store located on Gallatin Pike.
Metro Nashville Police detectives said the suspect walked into the store, pulled a large knife and pointed it at the clerk's stomach.
After taking money from the register, the suspect ran away.
Police said 35-year-old Steven Hardin has been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery in the case. He was seen on surveillance and identified after citizens called Crime Stoppers.
Hardin was jailed on a $25,000 bond.
