A 19-year-old has been charged in connection with a shooting at a Spring Hill fast food restaurant.
According to officials, Antares C. Heller Garcia got into an argument with another employee and allegedly shot that person multiple times.
The incident happened just after 8 p.m. on the Burger King on Port Royal Road.
Quickly after the shooting, Garcia ran from the restaurant and led an officer on a short foot chase. He was ultimately taken into custody along Port Royal Road.
The shooting victim was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in stable condition.
Police said they had received a harassment call from the same Burger King earlier in the day. However, it was unclear if the call was made in regards to the same employees.
The restaurant was fully staffed at the time of the shooting, and one customer was still inside.
Garcia has been charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment and aggravated assault.
