Officials in East Tennessee have arrested a woman after she reportedly backed over an officer.
The crime happened in Morristown when Connie Davis allegedly tried to avoid being arrested.
Reports stated she backed her vehicle up over an officer with the Morristown Police Department.
The officer was taken to UT Medical Center with a severe leg injury.
Cpl. David Klein is expected to undergo surgery on his leg later tonight at UT Medical Center after being intentionally struck by a resisting suspect's vehicle earlier today. Thank you to everyone who has expressed support.

Davis was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, evading arrest, and disorderly conduct.
