Suspect in deadly March shooting in North Nashville turns himself in

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man suspected of shooting and killing a 20-year-old in late March has turned himself in to Metro police.

On March 27, Kendall Ostine was shot near the intersection of Herman and Blank Streets in North Nashville, police said.

He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Police said 21-year-old William D. Britton turned himself in to officers in downtown Nashville on Wednesday. He was charged with homicide and booked into jail. His bond has been set at $150,000.
