Suspect Sought In Fatal Shooting On Forest Ridge Drive

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police said a man was fatally shot early Saturday morning in Hermitage.

The shooting happened around 5:50 a.m. Saturday in the 4600 block of Forest Ridge Drive.

The victim was identified as 24-year-old Armondo Smoot.

According to reports, Smoot was shot multiple times when he arrived at an acquaintance’s home after leaving an after hours bar.

Authorities said Smoot died at the scene.

A description of the suspect was limited to a black male with short dreadlocks, and the motive remained unknown.
