Police have asked the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly tried to rob a Nashville fast food restaurant.
Metro Nashville Police said the incident was reported Monday night at a Sonic on Gallatin Pike.
While employees were working on closing for the night, a suspect entered the building and demanded they open the safe.
After initially thinking he was armed, one employee struggled with him and realized he only had a cell phone. The suspect fled on foot empty handed.
He was described as being in his late teens or 20s. He’s six feet tall and weighs 180 pounds.
