SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – Police have asked the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Bedford County.
Officials with Shelbyville police said the suspect walked into the First Community Bank, on Highway 231, Thursday.
He entered the bank at 1:15 p.m. and handed the teller a note stating he was armed and demanding cash. He took the money and fled the bank on foot heading south.
The suspect was seen on surveillance video and was described as being around 30-years-old and about 5-feet 11-inches tall, with a slim build.
