SMYRNA, Tenn. (WTVF) — A suspect is sought by the Smyrna Police Department for assistance with a theft.
According to Smyrna police, on May 8 just before noon, the male suspect stole an employee's cell phone from the Walgreens located at 1300 Hazelwood Drive.
The employee laid the phone down to help a customer, and the suspect grabbed it and left the store.
The suspect is a white male who appears to be between 20 and 30 years old. He also had a beard. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with "LA" on the front, a black or dark navy jacket with "LA" on the front and gray sweatpants. He was driving a dark-colored Ford SUV that could have some damage.
