Police have asked for help from the public to identify and locate the suspect in an armed bank robbery.
Officials with the Bowling Green Police Department said the male suspect walked into the Franklin Bank & Trust on Fairview Avenue around 9 a.m. Monday.
The suspect “displayed a weapon” and demanded money.
Investigators said a bank employee did as directed. The suspect fled the bank with an unspecified amount of money.
The bank’s surveillance video system captured images of the suspect.
The suspect has been described as black male around 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches. He was estimated to weigh around 150 to 170 pounds.
Police said the suspect was wearing a red baseball cap, burgundy shirt and dark knee-length shorts.
He also had dreadlocks and a goatee.
