HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Hendersonville Police arrested a suspected drug dealer Thursday, charging him with murder in a woman's overdose death.
Officers were called to investigate the death of a 27-year-old woman on Lynhurst Circle in December 2018.
Hendersonville Police said they determined the woman had died from an overdose of illegal drugs that had been purchased from Jason Russell, 41.
Thursday, officers arrested and charged Russell with second-degree murder the woman's death.
Russell was held in the Sumner County jail on $50,000 bond.
