NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A suspected drunk driver was taken into custody after colliding with an officer’s patrol car in an early morning crash.
The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, on 1st Street in Nashville.
Officials with Metro Police said the suspect crashed into the officer’s cruiser.
The officer suffered minor injuries but is expected to fully recover.
The suspect was taken into custody and is expected to be charged with DUI. His or her identity was not known.
