Suspected drunk driver crashes into train tracks

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville police investigated after a suspected drunk driver crashed into some train tracks in East Nashville Wednesday morning.

According to police, the woman crashed into the tracks near Scott Avenue at about 3:15a.m. She got out of the car and called 911 right before an oncoming train crashed into her vehicle.

No one was hurt.

The car was cleared within the hour and there was no damage to the train.
