NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 14-year-old was arrested in connection to an armed robbery on the Tennessee State University campus.
According to police, Jayemus Daniels was arrested Tuesday night. He was wanted in connection to a robbery at TSU.
Officers found him at a home on the 4000 block of Indiana Avenue. When officers knocked on the door, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana and sought a search warrant.
They recovered three loaded pistols, one of which had been reported stolen, and 133 grams of marijuana from the home.
In addition to aggravated robbery, Daniels was charged with unlawful gun possession and marijuana possession for resale. Another person present, 18-year-old Alvin Hinds. He was also charged with marijuana possession for resale.
