Police confirmed three juveniles and an 18-year-old were taken into custody or questioned following a barricade situation inside a Goodlettsville hotel room.

The incident had been ongoing Thursday morning at America's Best Value Inn in the 600 block of Rivergate Parkway.

Authorities said they tracked the four, including two males and two females, to the hotel where they barricaded themselves inside. It's believed the two male suspects were wanted for aggravated assault in Goodlettsville and auto burglaries in West Nashville.

Officers and SWAT team members were at the scene. Those at the hotel said officials were seen standing at a side door telling those inside to come out with their hands up.

According to reports, authorities went into the room just before 5:30 a.m. Details on the arrests were not immediately available.

Officials said the two females who were involved were being questioned. It was unclear if the two girls had committed any crimes.

Guests said they woke up to knocking on their doors early Thursday morning around 3 a.m. They were asked to get out of the hotel as quickly as possible by authorities.

“A little frightened,” said Kendra Swearingen, a guest. “They just said get your stuff, get out now. They didn't explain why. They just pointed in which direction they wanted us to go and told us to go around the hotel.”

Reports stated police were in contact with one of the juveniles' mothers who may have persuaded the four to come out and surrender.

Officials in Madison had been involved in a chase a few hours earlier around midnight, and it's believed it involved the same four subjects.

This was the second morning in a row police were at the hotel. Wednesday morning, authorities recovered a vehicle from there that was linked to a shooting. The two incidents were not related.

No injuries were reported from this incident. The investigation remained ongoing.
