Police were searching for two gunmen after a clerk was shot during a gas station robbery in Sumner County.

It started Wednesday night during a robbery of Fann's Market on Highway 25 in Castilian Springs. Investigators said three male suspects were involved in the incident.

During the robbery, at least one of the suspects shot the clerk before the men fled the scene. Officials did not release the condition of the victim.

Police did manage to take one person into custody. Details of that arrest were not released, and the suspect’s identity was not available.

Crews from multiple agencies were involved in the search for the remaining two suspects, including the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office and the Gallatin Police Department.

The search took investigators into the neighborhoods area around Hull Circle and East Broadway in Gallatin.

Officials said the men were considered armed and dangerous. They said residents should be cautious and be on the look for strange men acting suspiciously in the area. Overnight they asked neighbors to stay inside and lock their doors.

One of the men was described as wearing jeans and a grey hoodie.

Anyone with information about the suspects or who sees suspicious activity should call the Gallatin Police Department at 615-452-1313.
