One man has been arrested and another remained at-large after they reportedly forced their way into a home for a robbery while posing as bail bondsmen.
The crime happened around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 1300 block of Batts Boulevard.
Police responded to the scene for a shots fired call. An investigation showed the two forced their way in, tied everyone up with zip ties, and tried to rob the homeowners.
A woman in the home was shot in the arm, and another victim was hit multiple times with a weapon. Both were treated and released from Northcrest Hospital.
Arrested in the crime was 34-year-old William Troup. He was charged with especially aggravated burglary and criminal attempt to commit first degree murder.
The second suspect was still on the run. The investigation was ongoing.
