NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police are searching for suspects responsible for smashing their way into a Davidson County gas station and stealing cartons of cigarettes.
The incident happened at a convenience store on Briley Parkway near Donelson.
Officials with Metro Police said the suspects were able to get inside the store by breaking the glass of the front door.
They tried to steal cash by smashing an ATM and the cash register but were unable to open them.
The suspects gathered cartons of cigarettes before leaving the store.
Police are currently reviewing surveillance footage from inside the store. They have not released a description at this time.
