NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An investigation is underway after two armed robberies and one attempted robbery were reported across Davidson County.
Officials with Metro police said the incidents all happened within one hour late Tuesday night, spanning across Nashville to Donelson. Police believe the robberies aren't related at this point.
The first occurred around 10:30 p.m. at the Delta Express on Charlotte Pike. Police said two men wearing masks walked in with guns and demanded the clerk to get on the ground.
The suspects took off with money from the register.
They were described as being black men between 20-25-years-old. One was wearing a green and black jacket, black pants and white tennis shoes, with a grey bandana. The second suspect was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black face mask and gloves.
The second happened almost 30 minutes later at the Sonic on Donelson Pike. According to police, this was an attempted armed robbery.
Police said the three suspects, described as black males in their late teens or early 20s, were wearing masks. They were armed with guns but couldn't get in because the door was locked.
The third incident happened before 11:30 p.m. at the Circle K on Nolensville Pike. Two men with guns grabbed the cash from the register.
Those suspects were described as being two black males, with one wearing a dark blue beanie with white lettering, a black and gray shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes, and a gray t-shirt over his face. The second man was wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.
Police have since released surveillance photos from inside the store.
All of the robbers were able to run away from the scene. Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
