Two people were taken into custody after a standoff in Donelson that lasted more than six hours overnight.
Officers were first called to the home on Wellington Square around 6 p.m. Thursday night for a domestic disturbance.
The victim was safely removed from the home and officers obtained felony warrants for the people inside.
One of them was reportedly armed with a sword and threatened officers.
After failing to comply with officer's demands to come out on their own, the SWAT Team entered the home around 1 a.m. Friday.
Two suspects, identified as Ashley Smalling and John Gentuso, were arrested.
Gentuso was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, while Smalling was charged with vandalism.
