NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A tanker truck carrying thousands of gallons of milk overturned north of Nashville late Tuesday.
The crash happened just before midnight on I-65, near the I-24 split on the north side of town.
Metro Police said the truck crashed into an ambulance, then overturned on the side of the interstate.
Because of where the truck came to rest, Metro officials decided to wait to clear the truck until after the Wednesday morning commute.
Investigators said only minor injuries were reported in the initial crash.
