(WTVF) — Taylor Farms Illinois, Inc. has recalled approximately 51 pounds of some of its cheese and bacon quiche products, said the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
The affected products are 10-ounce individual plastic containers labeled "Jarlsberg & Bacon Quiche" with lot code TFIL156A001 and a use by date of June 11. This product contains egg, a known allergen, which is not declared on the label.
The products subject to recall also bear establishment number EST. 21794 inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to retail locations in Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, Ohio and West Virginia.
Taylor Farms Illinois made the USDA aware when they discovered the incorrect bottom package label had been applied to the product.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions after consumption of the products. The USDA, though, urges consumers not to eat them and to either throw them away or return them.
