Allegations surrounding a Lebanon councilman running for mayor have gotten the attention of agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Officials were looking into whether or not Bernie Ash actually lives in the district he represents.
The investigation is being conducted at the request of the local District Attorney General.
The allegations claimed Ash lives in the 5th Ward, but represents the 4th Ward.
