HARTSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — An inmate inside the Trousdale Turner Correctional Facility died Saturday afternoon.
The TBI, who is leading the investigation, says the man killed has been identified as Ernest Hill, 42.
Investigators say preliminary information shows the incident happened inside a cell and involved two inmates. No correctional officers were involved.
