NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Ashland City Thursday night.
It happened near the intersection of Old Clarksville Pike and Red Binkley Road. At the scene, our NewsChannel 5 photographer saw investigators counting numerous bullet holes in a Blue Ford SUV.
According to the TBI, a Cheatham County Sheriff's Office deputy was pursuing a wanted subject, identified as Josh Cathey, who had reportedly tried to hit a deputy who'd just gotten out of his cruiser.
One deputy fired his service weapon in response, hitting Cathey. He sustained a non-life-threatening injury to the arm.
No officers were injured in the incident.
