Endangered Hawkins County boy found safe in Florida

HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Update: Carl James Carmichael has been found safe in Tampa, Florida. His non-custodial mother is in custody.

An endangered child alert has been issued by the TBI for a missing Hawkins County boy.

1-year-old Carl James Carmichael was last seen on July 30 with his non-custodial mother, 30-year-old Ella Amish.

Amish may be driving a green Dodge Journey with Tennessee license plate 3R7-5L4.
