CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — TBI agents are investigating after a shooting Saturday night in Cheatham County.
According to TBI, Cheatham County deputies were called to a domestic-related incident on Petway Road involving a woman and 50-year-old Michael Gurley.
Three deputies arrived and had an interaction with Gurley.
According to TBI, the situation escalated and at least one of the deputies shot Gurley. He was taken to the hospital.
TBI reports none of the law enforcement personnel on scene were injured.
The results of the investigation will be shared with District Attorney Ray Crouch's office for review.
The names of the deputies involved were not released.
