TBI seeks information in case of bodies found in burned car

DYER COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation asked for the public's help in their investigation of two people found dead in a burned vehicle in Dyer County .

The bodies of Robert W. Williams, of Hartford, Kentucky, and Samantha Nicole Dial-Hankins of Goodlettsville, were found dead in the burned car in an area off Great River Road on February 2.

TBI officials are looking for anyone who may have owned a Lotto Sport Italia sweatshirt found that was found at the scene. They're also looking for anyone who may have suffered unexplained burns or injuries since February 2, including unexplained changes to their hair - particularly the length of a person’s hair.

The Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson and the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible.
