A Tennessee Department of Transportation worker was not seriously hurt after his HELP truck was struck on Interstate 40.
The incident happened shortly before 11 a.m. Monday on I-40 westbound at mile marker 220.
TDOT officials said he was tagging an abandoned vehicle on the shoulder when an SUV struck the HELP truck.
He suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital as a precaution. His name was not released.
The wreck was expected to clear by 1:30 p.m.
