NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police officers charged a 16-year-old in the deaths of a 12 and 14-year-old in Nashville.

Tristan Williams was charged with two counts of criminal homicide and one count of attempted criminal homicide for the November 24 shootings of three juveniles inside a stolen pickup truck on I-24 east near downtown.

The driver, Abdiwahab Adan, 12, and a back seat passenger Donquez Abernathy, 14 were killed in the incident. A 14-year-old girl, the front seat passenger, was wounded.

Williams, the passenger side rear passenger, also received a serious gunshot wound to his leg. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation. Williams is being held at juvenile detention.
