NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A 17-year-old is facing aggravated robbery charges after a woman was carjacked Monday afternoon after she had just left her job at Opry Mills.

The victim told police three young men approached her as she walked to her car and demanded her keys at gunpoint.

All three took off from the scene in her vehicle.

Officers spotted the stolen vehicle about an hour later in a housing development.

Police say all three men in the car took off on foot after they tried to stop the car. Jaiontez Jones was taken into custody after a brief foot chase.

Police say Jones dropped an Airsoft pisol during the chase. He also had a second Airsoft pistol on him when he was arrested. Police said Jones spit on an officer while he was being taken to a patrol car.

Jones admitted he took the victim's keys and drove off in her car. The two other people with Jones have not yet been identified.
