Friends and family of a teen drowning victim held a vigil in honor of the 17-year-old.
According to Wilson County officials, Alex Rodriguez jumped off a 30-foot cliff on Old Hickory Lake, but he never resurfaced.

Rodriguez was a student at Hunters Lane High School and was loved by many, which was evident by the turnout at the vigil Friday night.
The event allowed Alex's friends and family to try and heal from their loss.Three other teens were with Alex at the lake that day but none of them were injured.
