A teen was injured in a shooting in the Madison area.
According to Metro Nashville Police officials, a 15-year-old girl was shot in the leg Wednesday evening.
She was allegedly talking to a guy in the cul-de-sac of the Timberwood neighborhood when someone fired a gun hitting her in the leg.
Witnesses told police they saw a man with dreads in his early 20s wearing dark clothing fire the gun toward the victim.
The injury was not believed to be life-threatening.
