NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police said a teenager was shot in a drive-by shooting while playing basketball in North Nashville.
Officers said the teen was at 17th Avenue and Knowles Street when he was shot in the leg. He was expected to be okay.
Witnesses told police someone shot at the group from inside a Black Impala, but the victim was not believed to be the intended target.
No arrests had been made. The investigation was ongoing.
