STEWART COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — The teenage aunt of a 4-month-old baby has been charged with the baby's death.
19-year-old Abbie-Louise Buckley is charged with murder and aggravated child abuse following the death of her 4-month-old niece.
Investigators say Buckley was babysitting the child, when she shook and then threw the child against a wall when the baby wouldn't stop crying.
Authorities say Buckley called 911 when the infant lost consciousness.
When paramedics arrived on scene, the baby had died.
A medical examiner found the 4-month-old died of a fractured skull.
Buckley is currently being held in the Stewart County Jail without bond.
